THE VILLAGE Ski lessons The « Village des Enfants » offers families enrolling their children for daycare an accompanied transport service to their ski lessons either in the morning or the afternoon. They hand the children over to the state qualified ESF (French National Ski School) instructors until the end of their lessons. The « Village des Enfants » activity leaders are responsible for preparing the children for their lessons and accompanying them to the lesson meeting point and bringing them back to the “Village des Enfants” after their ski lessons. Lessons available from the ESF (French National Ski School) range from Kiddies Snow Garden to group classes at competition level . Budding champions can enjoy themselves in a genuine snowy adventure playground with specially adapted equipment. From the age of 4 years they benefit from a special teaching method based on play including balance, coordination and movement. To be able to benefit from this service children must be enrolled for the whole day the at “Village des Enfants» on one of the options below: Morning skiing + meal + afternoon childcare OR Morning childcare + meal + afternoon skiing Children who are enrolled in morning ski lessons must arrive between 9am and 9.10am dressed in their ski wear including ski suit, hat, gloves, glasses, sunscreen, ski equipment and possibly indoor wear for the afternoon in the “Village”. Children enrolled in afternoon classes must arrive between 9am and 10am wearing indoor clothes with their skiwear and equipment for the afternoon. Ski equipment (skis, boots, poles and safety helmets) is not supplied by the “Village» or by the ESF (French National Ski School).Children under the age of 5 years benefit from a free ski pass for the entire ski area.
