Insurance
Val d’Isère Town Hall holds full public liability and professional comprehensive insurance policies covering all persons within the centre and during the activities offered by the “Village des Enfants”.
However, your child is not insured by the “Village” or by the ESF during his/her ski lessons.

We strongly advise that you take out the “Carte Neige” ski insurance which covers the risk of accident.

Children under the age of 5 years do not pay to use the ski lifts.

Opening times
The « Village des Enfants » is open from Sunday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm.
Reception is closed from 12.45pm to 2pm.

Children must arrive: between 9am and 9.10am for those who have morning ski lessons and between 2pm and 2.10pm for those who have afternoon lessons.
Between 9am and 10am for children who are staying at the daycare centre in the morning and between 2pm and 2.30pm for those staying at the daycare centre in the afternoon.

Equipment
Parents must supply the following items:

  • A complete change of clothes (especially for younger children).
  • Indoor clothes: a pair of slippers or indoor shoes (outdoor shoes are prohibited in the activity rooms), tights or leggings so the child may take off his/her ski suit (which may be damp depending on the weather)
  • Outdoor clothes: warm and waterproof footwear for the snow, warm ski suit, gloves, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses…

The « Village des Enfants » does not supply ski equipment; therefore you should rent equipment if your children are enrolled in ski lessons.

For the comfort of your child, we advise you to bring along any cuddly toy or other object that may contribute to their well-being.

All personnel belongings (shoes, gloves, hats, glasses …) must be marked with the children’s name . Staff are not responsible for the loss or theft of unmarked clothes or objects.


Health
For the safety and protection of the children, it is essential that you complete and return the health form and the responsibility discharge form.

Your children may not be admitted to the daycare centre without these documents.

It may be completed on-line and signed when you arrive in resort or printed in PDF format, completed by hand and returned to us by post.
